I have an 8 week old son that loves to be held! When he is awake he pretty much cries unless we carry him around so he can look at everything! No, he does not have colic and really all I think it is that he just likes to be held by his mom and dad & look around! He hates his carseat, he hates the carrier, the vacuum does nothing, classical music forget it! A sling will not work bc their is just one position he likes to be held other then that no way hes not having it. He sleeps all night and in generally good about naps but the problem is when hes up he wants just to be carried around, its VERY hard! I am having major back and arm pain and my husband as well. Ok so the next ? is this: I do not have him a swing or play mat do you think for the way my son sounds one would be a good idea or no and if so which one and why? Plus I would love to hear your stories and tips!

he is 10 weeks old today, but he sometimes does get tired of the swing and wants to be held but for the most part he loves the swing..

-stares at me alot (then looks away when I catch him,will occasionally smile though)
-always finds reasons to walk over to me to talk (comments on the drink I’m carrying, asks me how my week was,etc)
-walked me out to my car the other night after my daughter’s halloween party
-I got into a car wreck right before practice the other nite but came anyways (we were late)..he stopped class when we walked in, walked over to me and leaned over the fence (keeps kids off the mats) and asked “are you ok?” when I said yes he asked again “are you sure? you’re really ok?” and I smiled and said yes
-wouldn’t make eye contact with me when talking to me about my daughter’s report card for end of session (my daughter was standing there too so he kept looking at her..looked at me twice)
-before I left the gym..he walked over to me, leaned up against the fence (facing me), looked right at me and said (in a soft,gentle voice) “I’m really glad you are ok.” it was so sweet but I didnt want to be too forward so I smiled really big and said “thanks Gary, I am too”
so do u think he likes me? if so, why wouldn’t he look at me when talking to me and my daughter?
and NO he doesn’t like my daughter (she is 11 years old)..he is single and in his 30′s
he was sitting in the break room for employees when I left and I wanted to poke my head in and say “good nite..thanks for doing such a good job with my daughter.” but I was too shy!!
I’m going to see him again this week..how should I act?

Question by jessie: why does my dog go to the bathroom and then whines?
I have noticed that my dog would occasionally walk to our bathroom and then whimper quietly. He is 100% potty trained and usually paws/whimpers at the back door when he has to go. He doesn’t love baths but doesn’t fidget like other dogs during dog baths. The only times he is in the bathroom is when there is hot weather. Occasionally he sleeps on the floor mat in there too. Maybe once or twice he hid there when he knew he was in trouble.
But why would he voluntarily go to the bathroom and give out a soft whimper?Is he just trying to get our attention?

Answer by twitch animals have favorite places my cat will claw at the bath room door until i open it and he too will curl up on the mat. or it could be on hot days its warmer in the bathroom and to cool in the rest of the house or vice versa depending on what dog it is. either that or maybe someones giving him a reason to think he did something wrong. and it could be possible he feels lonely and wants attention aome animals will hide sorta speak when they feel like that. next time you see him do that stand there and call his name if he starts wagging his tail or comes to you he probably just want attention, if not its most likely one of the others
The best part of the trip is the PEOPLE that we met on the island You, Me, and Them! Seriously.. I was expecting some rest and a bit of fun from this trip but I never expect it to be so much of fun and excitement!!!! Not so much of peaceful mind tho… more of UNEXPECTED Surprises every now and then!! From the food in Ee Loo to Mirage, the exciting boat ride by the bestboatdriver, yeyes hairdo! the school of fish that greet us from the jetty, the blue sky and sandy beach that wowed us, the 5mins lecture from Mat Carol, the laidback resort, crazy run after the volleyball and Frisbee, the sunset, the shooting stars and starry sky, the Tom and Jerry show that acc us thru our breakfast, jungle trekking, the stoney beach, jumping into the untouched sea, walking in the jungle in wet clothing, scratched and knocked into all kind of plants in the jungle, the open shower, the COKE that quest our thirst, Island hopping, chasing after the rainbow fish, playing hide and seek with Nemo, feeling the fear of Sea Urchin from far, screaming thru our snorkeling gear when excited by the beauty of the sea creatures, the corals, the powdery sand, the cave, the storm in the middle of the sea, the real life pirate-ship, the Hope of seeing Pulau Besar and our parents and frenz again, the fear of Death, the floating carrots and potatoes, the hot choc that warm our body, the pool, darts, poker, and mahjong, the pina colada, frozen margarita, long island tea, bloody mary and Carlsberg, the nice … Video Rating: 5 / 5
